How to maintain an electric shaver

Aug 07, 2024

Electric shavers are now used by many people, which are convenient, fast, and do not harm the skin. But it is estimated that many people do not know how to maintain it. Good maintenance not only allows for longer use, but also makes it more comfortable to use.

How to maintain an electric shaver:
1. Regularly clean the blade, but be particularly careful not to damage the blade during cleaning. You can use a brush to remove debris along the blade, and then spray a cleaning and disinfecting lubricant to keep the blade sharp.

2. The blade should be close to the skin to achieve the best effect. When using, it is best to maintain a 90 degree angle between the shaver and the skin, allowing the blade to approach the beard without obstruction, in order to achieve the best shaving effect.

3. The most common way to clean the blade is to rinse it with clean water. When rinsing, it is best not to touch the shaver body with water to avoid mechanical failure. If the product you are using is a wet dry dual-use type, the base part should still not come into contact with water to avoid damaging the motor.

4. Do not use electric shavers with insufficient power, as forced use may damage the internal motor.

5. After using the shaver for a period of time, mites may breed on the blade. For this reason, after using the electric shaver for two weeks, unscrew the blade, take out the blade, sweep away the stubble, and then apply half a drop of wind oil essence to the blade for mite killing. The special odor and effective ingredients of wind oil essence are the nemesis of mites, and its oil state will not cause rusting of the blade, nor will it affect the skin. Be careful not to drop wind oil on the rotating shaft.
