Instructions for using a manual shaver:
1. Cleaning beard position
Before shaving, clean the razor and hands, especially the area where the beard is located, to prevent bacteria from entering the newly shaved hair follicles and causing infections.
2. Wash the beard with warm water to soften it
Pat some warm water on your face to make your pores open, so shaving won't hurt, and it can also soften your beard. Apply shaving foam or shaving cream on the part to be shaved, and wait for 2 or 3 minutes before shaving.
3. Scraping sequence: Scraping from top to bottom
The process of shaving usually starts from the upper cheeks on both sides, followed by the beard on the upper lip, and then the angular parts of the face. Because shaving cream stays longer, the roots of the beard can be further softened, so start from the sparsest part of the beard and finally scrape the thickest part.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water
Rinse with warm water after scraping, then rinse with cold water again to shrink the open pores and prevent bacteria from entering. Finally, gently pat dry the scraped area with a dry towel without rubbing hard.
5. Post shaving care
After shaving, do not rub the skin, and then use aftershave water or toner, shrink water, aftershave honey and other aftershave care products.
Sometimes it is possible that the hands are too heavy or the skills are not proficient, leading to bleeding on the face, which should be the part that men are most afraid of. We should handle it calmly. You can immediately apply hemostatic ointment, or use a small ball of clean cotton or tissue to vigorously press down on the wound for 2 minutes. Then, dip a few drops of clean paper in clean water, gently apply it to the wound, and slowly remove the cotton or tissue to prevent bleeding.
6. Cleaning blades
After shaving, remember to rinse the knife clean, place it in a well ventilated area to dry, and then do not place it in a damp place to prevent the blade from rusting. Also, to avoid bacterial growth, the blades should be replaced regularly, rinsed with water, or soaked in diluted alcohol.
